FIC Welcomes Richard Somers as a Senior Investigator in Moncton

Moncton, NB—Forensic Investigations Canada (FIC), Canada’s leading investigative and surveillance firm, announced today that it has appointed Richard Somers to their Special Investigations Team as a Senior Investigator in its Moncton branch in New Brunswick. As an experienced RCMP officer, Richard brings more than 30 years of security and investigative knowledge to FIC. Richard’s extensive experience in interrogation, investigation, and surveillance techniques will help the FIC Team enhance the client experience.

Prior to joining FIC, Richard worked as the Security Supervisor with Noralta Lodge Ltd. in Fort McMurray, Alberta, where he was responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the security department for more than 3000 clients at the lodge. This included supervising a team of 22 security guards, investigating major incidents, and providing training. Richard has also worked across Canada as a member of the RCMP in various roles including operations, highway patrol, and providing executive security to diplomats.

Richard’s role as Senior Investigator at FIC will provide clients with an experienced bilingual resource specializing in overt and special investigations, auto thefts, as well as property, insurance, and corporate investigations.
