April 13, 2010, Winnipeg, Manitoba FirstOnSite Restoration is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Grant as District General Manager, Manitoba District, effective April 19, 2010.

Mr. Grant will work closely with existing co-Presidents Mr. Vance Hallett and Mr. Claude Couture over the next several months in transitioning the management of operations for FirstOnSite Restoration operations in Manitoba, which include Winnipeg and Brandon based branches.

David comes to FirstOnSite Restoration from Honeywell Limited where he held increasing levels of responsibility since 1992 and was a part of the Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) commercial design build team for control systems. Most recently, Mr. Grant specialized in leading large industrial project management teams and was responsible for the implementation of SAP in Honeywells ACS business units in Canada in an effort to achieve consistent and optimized business globally.

Mr. Grant possesses a diploma in electrical engineering technology from Red River Community College and a certificate of completion in industrial electronics from South Winnipeg Technical Center.

FirstOnSite Restoration is enthusiastic to welcome Dave Grant aboard, states Mr. Doug Irwin, Vice-President and General Manager, Prairies Region. We expect Daves experience and efforts to significantly assist in the continued growth of FirstOnSites Manitoba operations and further improve on our delivery of responsive and top quality workmanship to our clients.

The FirstOnSite Winnipeg and Brandon branches were originally founded as Premiere Restoration in 1993 by Mr. Hallett and Mr. Couture, and the operation quickly grew to be one of the leading restoration firms in the province. In August, 2007, the operating assets of Premiere operation were purchased by EW Disaster Kleenup Canada L.P. and subsequently acquired by FirstOnSite in July, 2008, at which time Mr. Hallett and Mr. Couture became shareholders in FirstOnSite.

The FirstOnSite Manitoba operations were awarded the Consumers Choice Award in the category of Fire and Water Damage Restoration for 2007 and 2008.

Mr. Hallett and Mr. Couture will remain readily available to provide consultation and assistance to Manitoba district operations in any necessary capacity upon completing the transition of district management to Mr. Grant.
