March 15, 2018   by CSIO (Centre for Study of Insurance Operations)

TORONTO, March 15, 2018 /insPRESS/ – CSIO is pleased to announce that the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba (IBAM) has endorsed its My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution to send consumers their policy documents for personal and commercial lines electronically.

The solution was developed by CSIO in collaboration with brokers and carriers from across Canada and is available to IBAM members at no additional charge.

“My Proof of Insurance represents a potential win-win for brokers and consumers,” says Grant Wainikka, IBAM CEO. “Leveraging this solution, brokers can deliver insurance documents digitally. My Proof of Insurance provides another valuable service delivery option for Brokers to consider in an ever-changing marketplace.”

The solution allows brokers to send policy documents to consumers via email, co-branded with both brokerage and carrier logos. Consumers will not be required to download proprietary apps or create a username and password.

“This endorsement from IBAM is a further indicator of growing broker enthusiasm for the My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution,” states Catherine Smola, President & CEO of CSIO. “We appreciate IBAM’s support in promoting the benefits of this platform and driving adoption with their members, strengthening their value proposition for today’s digital consumer.”
