Industry veteran Angela Veri joins Sedgwick, Vericlaim leadership in Canada
Expert team advancing the companies’ strategic growth in the Canadian market
TORONTO, July 15, 2016 – Sedgwick and its subsidiary Vericlaim, a global provider of loss adjusting and claims management solutions, are pleased to announce a strategic addition to their growing team in the Canadian market: Angela Veri has been appointed senior vice president of business development.

Angela Veri now leads Vericlaim and Sedgwick’s Canadian sales and marketing division, managing strategic sales and customer relationship activities for all lines of business. Her focus is on the implementation of new sales initiatives and growing new markets for Sedgwick and Vericlaim across all provinces of Canada. Veri’s responsibilities include optimizing operating performance, supporting high levels of customer satisfaction, and aligning sales strategies and solutions with customers’ key performance areas.
Veri’s past experience, exposure to all lines of business and proven track record positions her as a great asset for customers who strive to build strategic partnerships. Veri has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, working in the casualty, disability, employer, Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and legal markets. She began her career as a vocational case manager and subsequently held learning development, senior sales and executive roles with major Canadian disability and claims organizations. Veri has built a strong reputation for exemplary client service, supported by a solid understanding of the claims, medical/rehabilitation and insurance industry. She has also developed joint initiatives for a diverse group of service offerings, including claims, engineering, investigations and finance.
Veri earned a bachelor’s degree from York University and a certificate in vocational rehabilitation counselling from Seneca College. She also participated in an executive sales leadership course at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is fluent in Italian.
