IPG Welcomes Paul Burns as Director, Business Development

TORONTO, June 25, 2018 /insPRESS/ – International Programs Group (IPG), Canada’s largest property and casualty (P&C) provider of Third Party Administration services, announced that Paul Burns will be joining their team as Director of Business Development. An experienced claims specialist, Mr. Burns has worked in both the domestic P&C insurance and Lloyd’s of London markets.

As a claims insurance professional for over 20 years, Mr. Burns has held senior-level positions in various areas of claims handling and has significant experience in Business Development and Operations. Mr. Burns has demonstrated excellent teamwork, customer service, leadership, and management skills throughout his career, including in his most recent position as Director of Global Business Development at a national restoration firm.

As Director, Business Development for IPG, Mr. Burns will be responsible for driving net new business and account management functions, assuring highly productive relationships and client partnerships are both cultivated and maintained. He will ensure that IPG remains competitive and well positioned in the marketplace, demonstrating TPA strategic leadership for an established sector dealing with Canadian Coverholders, London Brokers, London Syndicates, Risk Managers, and Canadian Brokers. He will report directly to IPG’s Managing Director, Patrick Scott.
