Kate Zado joins Apollo Insurance as Business Development Manager

TORONTO, ON, August 13, 2019/InsPress — Kate Zado has joined Apollo Insurance Solutions Ltd. as Business Development Manager, effective August 6, 2019.
Zado brings years of industry experience to the role, with a CV that includes Intact, Arch, and most recently, Mansha Financial, a boutique wealth management firm, where she managed life insurance client portfolios and advisor sales pipelines.
Previous to that role, Zado honed her skills as a business development manager at Intact’s Specialty Solutions Division, where she focused on new business growth and was the key contact for P&C brokers across Ontario.
“Kate brings a unique blend of business development experience from large insurance companies as well as smaller, specialized brokerages,” says Apollo CEO Jeff McCann. “She is fully aware of the problems facing brokers today, and the solutions the Exchange can offer them.”
Zado will join Apollo’s Toronto office, where she will focus on brokers in Ontario.

Zado also brings international experience to her new role. In 2015, she was chosen to take part in a regimented year long business development program focused around distribution management and sales techniques at Arch Insurance Group in New York City. There she gained an understanding of the US marketplace, while reporting to the EVP of the NorthEast Region.
