Toronto, September 26, 2017 – Sedgwick and its subsidiary Vericlaim, a global provider of loss adjusting and claims management solutions, are pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy James to senior claims adjuster in the Toronto office of Vericlaim Canada.

Kathy brings 20 years of solid industry experience to Vericlaim Canada. Specialties include general, automobile, professional, municipal and products liability. She also has experience in catastrophe claims, litigation management, investigations and negotiations. Kathy has a strong commitment to the industry and her clients. In her new position, she will focus on liability, automobile bodily injury and property adjusting.
Fluent in English and French, she is a fully licensed adjuster in Ontario and Quebec. She holds the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation. In 1997, she completed her Associate degree in Claims Management at the Quebec Insurance Institute, and in 2003 she completed her Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation at the University of Toronto.
