Kernaghan Adjusters Announces New Addition to Alberta Team

EDMONTON, AB, Oct. 16, 2019/insPRESS/ – Kernaghan Adjusters continues to grow their operations in the Alberta market with the addition of a new team member.

Russ Fitzgerald CIP, CLA, FIFAA, Vice President Alberta Operations, is very pleased to announce that Jane Lees has joined the Alberta team as senior adjuster. Jane will be operating out of the Edmonton branch and brings with her over 25 years of claims adjusting experience.

Jane’s career in the insurance industry began in 1989 as a receptionist with a national insurer. She quickly became interested in the claims side of the industry and pursued claims adjusting in 1992. Jane advanced rapidly, being promoted several times through the claims department before becoming an examiner. In 1998, she decided to change paths and left the national insurer to become and independent adjuster where she specialized in bodily injury claims.

Jane transitioned further to specialty lines and liability claims, which allowed her to utilize her solid adjusting and thorough investigative skills. Throughout her career, Jane has gained expertise in personal and commercial automobile and commercial liability claims, with a strong focus on providing adjusting excellence. Her exceptional knowledge and well-rounded adjusting experience make her a strong asset to the Edmonton team.

Jane has developed a proven reputation in the insurance industry for efficiency, professionalism and trust. As a well-respected member of the insurance community with an extensive background, which includes work with two national insurers and two national independent adjusting firms, Kernaghan is very excited add top industry talent to our expanding Alberta market share.

Jane believes that continued education and professional development is essential and is currently pursuing her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
