Owen Watson joined the Kernaghan team as its London Services Manager in 2017. In his expanded role as Director, Specialty Markets, he will focus on working with, both nationally and globally, Lloyd’s syndicates, insurers, brokers and managing general agents to develop claims solutions for non-traditional markets.

Owen began his career in Vancouver as a claims examiner at Commonwealth Insurance in 2005. His portfolio of claims included complex property losses in the multi-million dollar range.  Owen’s desire for growth took him to London, England where he gained valuable Lloyd’s experience at QBE. Managing a global portfolio of third party administrators and coverholders were part of his responsibilities.
