New President Announced for the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association

(Toronto – September 25, 2017 – InsPRESS)  The Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association is pleased to announce that Monica Kuzyk, FCIP, C. Dir., was inaugurated as the association’s 33rd president.

Kuzyk assumed the role from outgoing president, Heather Matthews, during the CIAA Annual Conference held September 7 – 10, 2017 in Kelowna, British Columbia.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CIAA Executive for their commitment to our Association.  These dedicated insurance professionals willingly share their talents and time in service to our membership.  Their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm continue to drive our Association forward.” Kuzyk said during the annual general meeting.

“Monica is keen to continuing the fundamental groundwork for transformation set in the previous two years and under her capable leadership the association will continue to execute on value to the membership and relevance within the industry”, said Patricia Battle, Executive Director.

Kuzyk began her insurance career in 1983 with Prudential Assurance, and today she is Vice President, Curo Claims Services.

CIAA is the national voice of Independent Adjusters in Canada, providing leadership through advocacy, education and recognized professional standards.
