Pario Welcomes Derek Magee to Grande Prairie Office

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB, NOV. 8,  2018/insPRESS/ – Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of specialized engineering and environmental services to the insurance and risk management industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Derek Magee as Project Manager for Environmental Services.

Mr. Magee comes to Pario with over 12 years of environmental experience in upstream oil & gas contaminated sites for British Columbia and Alberta, which included transportation related incidents, emergency response and assessment, Stage/Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments, facility decommissioning, cut/cap well head decommissioning, groundwater monitoring programs, groundwater well installation, remediation of contaminated sites, geotechnical, and peer mentorship and training.

Mr. Magee’s experience includes environmental contracting, budgeting, coordinating and assistant managing small to large scale remediation projects and engineering projects. In his role with Pario, Mr. Magee’s focus will be to provide project management and field operations for spill response and remediation projects conducted by the team, primarily in Grande Prairie, Alberta and other parts of Western Canada.

Mr. Magee is a Certified Civil Technologist (CET) and Environmental Technologist (AScT) registered with two associations; the Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) and the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC).
