Ottawa, ON, July 29, 2019/InsPress – Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of specialized engineering and environmental services to the insurance and risk management industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Miles Torch as Environmental Project Manager to its Ottawa Region office.
Mr. Torch comes to Pario with over 10 years of experience in the environmental construction industry. During this time, he has worked with large scale environmental projects across Ontario, including linear and highway works, pipelines, solar farms, residential and ICI, and landfill sites.
Mr. Torch is well-versed in emergency response, assessment and remediation; design and implementation of environmental protection; compliance monitoring and reporting; project and permit compliance; erosion and sediment control; and wetland and watercourse protection and restoration; as well as the Fisheries Act and legislation. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering from Niagara College, and he is a Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC,). Mr. Torch is also a Member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA).
