ServiceMaster Restore Sponsors the Scotties Tournament of Hearts for Third Consecutive Year

Okanagan, BC Feb. 16, 2018 /insPRESS/ – For the third year, ServiceMaster Restore was the Diamond Sponsor of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada’s National Women’s Curling Championship. Now in its 36th year, hometown teams from across Canada compete in provincial and territorial curling championships with one goal in mind – to qualify for and win the country’s most prestigious women’s curling tournament. These competitors will join Team Canada in a battle for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts title and the Canadian Women’s Curling National Championship.

The Scotties represents the very best of women’s sport – dedicated teamwork, incredible passion and a strong bond that can only be developed through intense competition. “The heart of curling is founded on sportsmanship and camaraderie which resonates well with our brand,” Roy comments.

The 2018 event was held in Penticton, BC at the South Okanagan Events Centre from January 27 to February 4, 2018. ServiceMaster Restore of Central & North Okanagan, ServiceMaster Restore of Fraser Valley and ServiceMaster Restore of Penticton hosted customers during the nine day tournament as well as participated in the popular Toque Toss during the championship draw on Saturday evening.

Team Manitoba were the victors of this year’s tournament with an 8-6 win over Team Wild Card. This marked Jennifer Jones’ sixth win of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts which ties her with renowned Nova Scotia skip Colleen Jones for the most Scotties titles. With the Team Canada title, they automatically advance to the 2019 Scotties being held in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

ServiceMaster Restore is looking forward to participating in the 2018 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada’s National Men’s Curling Championship, taking place in Regina, Saskatchewan from March 3 to 11, 2018.
