Jeff Ropchan has joined SPECS as an Appraiser in our Edmonton branch. Jeff is a Construction Engineering Technologist and a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. He brings eleven years of experience working in the construction industry and has developed estimating skills through carpentry apprenticeships, NAIT Certifications and training, and management positions. He has worked as a team lead and project manager in various construction projects and has extensive experience in scheduling, safety, company public relations, overseeing construction projects, invoicing, negotiations, contract reviews, execution and shop drawing reviews. David Kuzmak has joined SPECS as an Appraiser in our Edmonton branch. Previously a Construction Project Manager, David has over twenty-five years of varying building construction experience working primarily for general contractors. He is an Architectural Engineering Technology graduate and carries memberships with ASET (C.E.T) and PMI (PMP). David brings a strong workplace presence with expertise in scope identification and development, problem-solving, critical thinking, site evaluation, and contract management. Ralph Corkum has joined SPECS as an Appraiser in our Halifax branch. Previously a General Manager and Restoration Project Manager, Ralph has over thirty-five years of experience in the construction industry. He brings extensive experience in estimating, project management in both residential design build and commercial renovations, as well as insurance remediation and restoration. Fernando Coloma has joined SPECS as an Appraiser in our Burlington branch. Previously an Estimator/Project Manager, Fernando brings over thirteen years of diverse experience and substantial skills in managing complex restoration projects. He holds a diploma in Civil Engineering, as well as several other construction certificates, namely Construction Estimating, Planning & Scheduling and Ontario Building Codes. Frank Galati has re-joined SPECS as an Appraiser in our Burlington branch. He has over twenty years of industry experience and carries with him a wealth of knowledge in commercial and residential construction, design and project management. He holds a CPPA, is HAAG certified and has also taken numerous industry-specific technical building and construction courses. He is an exceptional insurance professional who has significant technical experience responding to catastrophes throughout Canada. He has been a part of SPECS’ CAT responses since 2010.
