The Economical Insurance Group Advances Integration for Individually Rated Commercial Auto Business

Waterloo, ON – The Economical Insurance Group® (TEIG®) is pleased to announce the implementation of daily download and full quoting functionality for Individually Rated Commercial Auto (IRCA) business.
Daily Download
Brokers using Power Broker (Zycomp Systems Limited) or The Broker’s Workstation (Customer Software Solutions Inc.) will soon see policy data automatically updated in their BMS using CSIOnet download. Benefits of this Broker Connectivity initiative include increased data accuracy and quality, workflow streamlining and decreased duplicate entry. To deepen the benefit brokers will derive from the enhanced service, TEIG will also include Commercial Vehicle Supplement (CVS) data along with standard data common to private passenger vehicles in the download.
Quoting
The Waterloo-based carrier has partnered with Compu-Quote Inc. on its initiative to bring full IRCA quoting to brokers via their AutoRater™ product. The Compu-Quote offering works in conjunction with the current Commercial Quick Quote Module, but is enhanced to enable the gathering of additional IRCA specific underwriting and rating data. The quoting application enables quoting for additional classes and for expanded policy coverages and limits. It also offers expanded endorsements and policy forms.
