The Insurance Market Appoints Kurt Richardson as Chief Operating Officer

PICKERING, ON, May 23, 2019/insPRESS/ – The Insurance Market has appointed Kurt Richardson as Chief Operating Officer to oversee all commercial and personal lines operations effective May 1 st , 2019.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Richardson will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, carrier and market engagement, customer service excellence and profitable financial performance. With over 10 years of industry experience, Mr. Richardson brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the role with expertise in sales, team building and portfolio management.

Mr. Richardson joins The Insurance Market from his most recently held position as Underwriting Director, Global Specialty Lines with a focus on mid-market, large commercial and specialty risk. Having studied Business at The University of Western Ontario, Mr. Richardson also holds multiple designations including the Canadian Risk Manager designation, the Chartered Insurance  Professional designation and the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation.
