Vericlaim launches operations in British Columbia
Seasoned adjuster Maria Dickout on board to lead west coast servicing team
Langley, B.C., October 25, 2016 – Sedgwick and its subsidiary Vericlaim, a global provider of loss adjusting and claims management solutions, announced the opening of a new servicing office in the Langley area of metropolitan Vancouver. Industry veteran Maria Dickout has joined the team as Senior Adjuster and Account Manager leading the opening of Vericlaim’s operations in British Columbia.

Maria Dickout is an all-lines claims adjuster with nearly a decade of independent adjusting and national account management experience. Licensed in British Columbia and Alberta, she has expertise in residential property and commercial property losses, personal and commercial liability, bodily injury, and professional liability, along with auto property and injury. She joins the Vericlaim Canada team in the new Langley office to manage claims handling and to serve as the control adjuster for various national accounts.
For the past nine years, Maria has continued to build her adjusting and management skills. Maria carried out investigation work for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and was previously very active in the pharmacy industry. She has been licensed as a pharmacy technician and continues to handle a variety of pharmacy losses in the British Columbia region. Maria is also a member of the Insurance Institute of British Columbia and Alberta.
