WICC NeXt Gen is the brainchild of the Community Initiatives committee of WICC Ontario. “The WICC NeXt Gen team is excited to bring young professionals events that inspire them to build connections within the insurance industry and develop their business skills,” said Victoria Rochon, Chair, Community Initiatives, WICC Ontario. “Our goal is to create a network of individuals who are motivated to get involved in the industry while simultaneously supporting a cause that impacts many lives. We are thrilled to begin this new chapter and look forward to seeing all of our peers at the launch party.”

“WICC NeXt Gen will be building off of 23 years of WICC’s brand reputation for uniting the insurance industry,” said Ellen Moore, Co‐Chair, WICC Ontario. “WICC’s fundraising success, our strong connection with the Canadian Cancer Society, and our supportive Board members gives this driven, passionate and dedicated committee the kind of leverage they need to make this new fundraising arm a meaningful component of our annual donations.”

“The industry support WICC receives is simply tremendous, which is why, when the strategy was initially tabled to expand our reach into a younger professional demographic, we knew the support would follow,” said Marilyn Horrick, Co‐Chair, WICC Ontario. “Cancer knows no boundaries – it’s an equal opportunity disease. WICC NeXt Gen’s leaders know what their mandate is, and we’re excited to see where they go with it.”
