Archway Insurance grows New Brunswick footprint with purchase of Solutions Insurance Broker Inc.

Amherst, N.S.-headquartered Archway Insurance, one of Atlantic Canada’s largest independently-owned insurance brokerages, announced on Thursday the purchase of Solutions Insurance Broker Inc. in Dieppe, N.B.

Archway will increase its footprint in New Brunswick through this transaction, along with the ability to serve its existing and future clients in both official languages, Archway Insurance said in a press release.

Former Solutions Inc. owner Lisa MacDonald-Allen will stay on temporarily to assist with the management transition and upcoming move to a newly constructed location at 250 Champlain St. in Dieppe.

The acquisition of Solutions Inc.  brings the total number of Archway locations to 12 – spanning the distance from Yarmouth, N.S. to Miramichi, N.B. Over the past decade, Archway has purchased dozens of brokerages across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, and is among the largest insurance brokerages in Atlantic Canada. The acquisition of Solutions Inc. also strengthens the company’s presence in southeastern New Brunswick, Archway Insurance said in the release.
