AXA Canada recently demonstrated its commitment to insurance brokers across Canada by increasing its investment in the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) Broker Identity Program to Full Partner status.
The move means AXA Canada will be able to display the “BIP” logo in their promotional and branding materials.
“This increased level of support from AXA Canada represents a strong statement of confidence for our branding program as well as for insurance brokers across the country,” IBAC CEO Dan Danyluk says. “The company recognizes that the broker distribution network benefits carriers, brokers, and at the end of the day, consumers of insurance products.”
“The Broker Identity Program represents professional advice, choice, and an understanding that insurance brokers represent the interests of consumers. We totally stand behind the broker network to distribute our insurance products to Canadians from coast to coast”, AXA Canada President & CEO Jean-Franois Blais says.
“In addition, we believe that this financial support comes at a crucial time for brokers during the review of the Bank Act. Brokers are the pillars in virtually every community across Canada, and we strongly believe that they have the interests of their clients and their local economies at heart,” Blais adds.
Other insurers who have confirmed their continued commitment for this year as Full Partners include: Aviva Canada, Economical Insurance Group, ING Insurance Company of Canada, Markel Insurance Company of Canada, Pilot Insurance Company, Peace Hills Insurance, Pembridge Insurance Company, Red River Valley Insurance Company, Royal & Sun Alliance, and Saskatchewan Mutual Insurance Company. The commitment shown by these insurers, according to IBAC, underlines the fundamental value that brokers and the broker network bring to both insurers and consumers.
