Burns & Wilcox Canada hires new national sales and marketing manager

Burns & Wilcox Canada has announced Nicole Abraham, BA, CIP, CRM as its new national sales and marketing manager, as part of its expansion strategy here.

Abraham has more than 12 years of industry experience. Her most recent roles include business development manager and leader of broker management with Unica Insurance Company, where she worked for 10 years. She has also worked with RSA Insurance in broker management and sales training, in Toronto and Dubai.

The company also announced a new key hire in Mei Han, CIP, MBA now a commercial insurance underwriter with Burns & Wilcox. Previously with Aviva Canada, Han has also handled commercial underwriting for AIG China, where she began her career.

“Burns & Wilcox Canada is dedicated to providing Canadian brokers with underwriting solutions that other insurance wholesalers cannot provide,” Gary Hirst, the company’s executive director said in a statement. “Both Mei and Nicole will be instrumental in enhancing our service to Canadian brokers as we grow our business and we are very proud to welcome them into the Burns & Wilcox family.”
