Xchanging plc announced Wednesday a third-party administrator service, Xcelsia Claims, which is partnering with Pickering, Ont.-based ProFormance Group Insurance Solutions Inc.

London-based Xchanging’s products include the Xuber insurance software.

Xclesia Claims will provide “lineage recognition for the Canadian market,” Xchanging said

In addition to claims adjusting, Xcelsia Claims will provide “lineage reconciliation for the Canadian market,” Xchanging stated in a release. Xcelsia Claims will also provide “a London liaison to ensure right first time borderaux submissions.”

In addition to ProFormance, Xcelsia Claims “will partner with further established TPAs in new territories over the coming months, combining on the ground expertise with Xchanging’s London market experience and suite of claims management products,” Xchanging stated.

ProFormance’s services include handling claims in liability, accident benefits, bodily injury and errors & omissions. It also has a London market division – serving organizations with high deductibles and self-insured risks – and a training division.
