A new website slated to quickly and effectively pair up insurance industry job seekers and employers was recently released by Canadian Underwriter Magazine.
i-hire.ca is, according to Canadian Underwriter’s senior publisher Steve Wilson, "Canada’s Insurance Career Destination," offering the insurance industry an exclusive careers website providing a common meeting place for all areas of the insurance market.
At i-hire.ca job seekers are provided with the tools to browse recent industry jobs, search available jobs by region, category or keyword and reply to employers directly online. Employers and recruiters are able to post jobs, receive applicant information and attachments directly, edit postings and easily manage their account.
"i-hire.ca is the ‘online careers’ brand extension of Canadian Underwriter magazine and canadianunderwriter.ca an exciting new network that will provide the most effective online channel to bring insurance job seekers and employers together," Wilson says.
The innovative site utilizes insurance industry communications vehicles that reach job seekers and employers nationwide, according to Wilson.
Canadian Underwriter magazine Canada’s Insurance and Risk Magazine and canadianunderwriter.ca, will drive the i-hire.ca brand and job postings content, delivering its message nationally to all segments of the insurance market.
Wilson says as part of a special limited-time site-launch offer, i-hire.ca is offering all employers and recruiters 10 free job postings that will be posted by September 1, 2005.
In addition, all Job Postings placed at i-hire.ca will appear ‘simultaneously’ in the Insurance Careers Section of canadianunderwriter.ca, what Wilson describes as Canada’s favorite online insurance news and information resource.
i-hire.ca jobs will "exclusively power" the Insurance Careers Section at canadianunderwriter.ca providing i-hire.ca employers/recruiters the benefit of added exposure of their job postings at Canadian Underwriter magazine’s website.
"The extended quality reach of job postings appearing at i-hire.ca and canadianunderwriter.ca simultaneously, is unmatched in the industry," Wilson says.
Additionally, i-hire.ca jobs are "driven-out" to the insurance industry weekly as a special Careers component of canadianunderwriter.ca’s free "Insurance Headline News Email Alert" delivered to thousands of national subscribers and providing them with instant access to the week’s latest job postings. In addition, the very latest i-hire.ca jobs are displayed in real-time on the homepage of canadianunderwriter.ca.
Leveraging the strength and reach of Canadian Underwriter magazine’s insurance industry promotional power the i-hire.ca brand is being heavily advertised and promoted through the Canadian Underwriter group of insurance media properties: with high-profile i-hire.ca ads appearing monthly within Canadian Underwriter magazine plus i-hire.ca ads appearing in many of Canadian Underwriter’s other insurance industry advertising vehicles including: the Canadian Underwriter Annual Statistical Issue; the Insurance Marketer; and, the Ontario Insurance Directory in both print and online formats.
"All of this advertising and promotion offered by the i-hire.ca brand creates extreme value for employers/recruiters posting their jobs at i-hire.ca, as a result of continuous target insurance industry job seeker traffic to i-hire.ca as well as the Insurance Careers Section at canadianunderwriter.ca," Wilson says.
