The Canadian Auto Insurance Rate Regulators (CARR) Association has appointed two New Brunswickers to its executive committee.
Paul D’Astous, chairman & CEO of the New Brunswick Insurance Board (NBIB), has been appointed chair.
D’Astous has served as vice chair since the association’s inception in 2008.
Kevin Duff, executive director for the NBIB, was appointed secretary/treasurer.
“We created the Association as a way of encouraging a more formal collaboration among auto insurance rate regulators across the country,” D’Astous said.
“It’s the product of a common desire among automobile insurance rate regulators to have a forum to educate board members and staff on industry issues; discuss topics of concern; and share expertise exclusive to automobile insurance rate regulators.”
