Catlin Canada donates $17,500 to McGannon Foundation

Catlin Canada donated $17,500 to the William H. McGannon Foundation to assist students entering the insurance/risk management field of study.
The official cheque was presented at the annual Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Canada conference in Ottawa, Ont.
The McGannon Foundation is an initiative of RIMS Canada and was established to provide resources in the form of grants to advance risk management by way of education, research, mentorship programs and work experience programs.
The foundation has been active in raising funds since 2002, with the first scholarship being awarded in 2003.
Last year, Catlin Canada donated $25,000 to the McGannon Foundation at the 2010 RIMS Canada Conference in Edmonton, Alta.
