Chubb Canada names new CEO

Folowing on the departure of Jan Tomlinson to the U.S. parent company, Chubb Insurance Company of Canada has named Ellen J. Moore as its new CEO. In fact, Moore will continue to work for Tomlinson, who has assumed the role of international field operations manager and chairman of Chubb Canada.
Moore has been with Chubb since 1978, working at the Warren, New Jersey head office in the personal lines division. She managed the eastern U.S.and Canadian regions for Chubb Personal Insurance between 1986 and 1991 before becoming a vice president in 1992. This was followed with a stint as Washington, D.C. branch manager, with her most recent role as senior vice president and managing director in 1997.
