CIP Society now accepting nominations for National Leadership Awards

The CIP Society has announced the call for nominations for its National Leadership Awards program, which recognizes excellence across the Canadian property and casualty insurance industry.

Nominations will be accepted between March 1 and June 1 via the CIP Society’s website.

The awards program was launched in 2008, as part of the CIP Society’s 100th anniversary celebrations.

Honourees of the program are inducted into the society’s Leadership Circle at convocations and ceremonies across Canada.

“Over the last five years, the CIP Society National Leadership Awards have recognized a very consistent calibre of leader, who demonstrates excellence, integrity and achievement in everything he or she does,” Julie Pingree, chair of the CIP Society National Council said in a press release. “The Leadership Circle is both a reflection of and inspiration for the insurance community.”

This April, the CIP Society will also bring together the members of the Leadership Circle for a special roundtable event in Toronto, focused on topics such as leadership, mentoring, professional ethics, industry trends and future directions for the society.
