Indpendent adjusting company ClaimsPro has announced its acquisition of Westman Claims Adjusters, effective Dec. 4.

Based out of Brandon, Man., Westman has been serving the property and casualty market since 2008 and has strong relationships with its local brokerages.

Westman’s team of senior adjusters, including its three principals, will remain intact following the acquisition. Its clients can expect a smooth continuation of services as it adopts the ClaimsPro banner and there will be no changes to services, ClaimsPro noted in a statement.

“This acquisition increases our geographic coverage in Manitoba and enhances our team with highly skilled senior adjusters,”  Bob Fitzgerald, ClaimsPro’s president noted in a release. “The addition of this well-reputed company also increases our capacity to service our national program clients.”

“As part of ClaimsPro, Westman Claims Adjusters look forward to the support and resources of a national network. We believe this merger will allow us to better service our existing clients, and all clients for both firms, in the years to come” James Barnett, one of Westman’s three principals, added.

The deal is part of ClaimsPro’s plan for strategic growth through acquisition.
