Independent adjusting firm ClaimsPro Inc. has added niche adjusting firm Ashcroft Insurance Adjusters (Ashcroft) to its business, the company announced Tuesday, expanding its presence in British Columbia.

ClaimsPro

Based out of Nelson, B.C., Ashcroft will help ClaimsPro expand its business in Western Canada, especially in the remote locations within the Kootenays, including Creston, Kaslo, Argenta, Revelstoke, Edgewood, and Slocan, the company said.

Founded in 2002 by Leona Ashcroft, the firm handles all types of risk but specializes in personal and commercial liability, property, and auto claims. Ashcroft, also the primary adjuster at the company, will join ClaimsPro as a manager for the area.

“Leona has developed an excellent reputation in the area over the years,” Bob Fitzgerald, president of ClaimsPro noted in a statement. “She has considerable experience and will be an asset to our management team.”

Ashcroft has over forty years of experience in the insurance industry, 13 of those managing ICBC offices throughout British Columbia. She has expertise handling serious liability and motor vehicle accidents, as well as pleasure craft claims.

“As part of ClaimsPro, I look forward to leveraging the technological resources of this national company,” Ashcroft commented in a statement. “My clients can look forward to the benefits offered by ClaimsPro’s industry-leading claims management software as well as its national network of expert adjusters.”

ClaimsPro said Ashcroft clients can expect a smooth continuation of services throughout the transition.
