Disaster Kleenup Canada (DKC) has appointed Ken Tucker as its CEO and Ken Zardo as vice president of sales and marketing.

The company says the new leadership represents the company coming around “full circle.”

“There is not a more appropriate person to lead DKC than Ken Tucker,” the company says in a press release. “With 48 years in the property restoration business, Ken Tucker has been an influencer, mentor, adviser and one of the founding members of DKC.

“Ken was there when the [Disaster Kleenup International] DKI–Ontario Chapter was created, and served as its first president and chairman of the board. His history in the business, knowledge of the industry and insight into the needs of customers will help push DKC ahead of the pack.”

Zardo joins Tucker to form the executive team for DKC. He has been in the property restoration industry for almost 15 years.

“Previously working as competitors, they [Tucker and Zardo] have come together to share experience and innovation to better DKC,” the company notes.

“With a fresh perspective and on the heels of strengthening our core principles, DKC is renewing its relationship with DKI (Disaster Kleenup International),” DKC says. “With new DKI locations being established in Ireland and future sights set on Australia and the rest of Europe, DKC will benefit from the shared knowledge and networking these ventures bring.”
