Echelon General president resigns

EGI Financial Holdings Inc. announced Monday that George Kalopsis has resigned as president and chief operating officer of Echelon General Insurance Company, EGI’s property and casualty insurance subsidiary. 

“George has been a strong contributor to the company, a respected mentor to many and a great colleague to all,” Steve Dobronyi, the company’s CEO, said in the statement.

“He is the consummate professional, always operating with the highest integrity,” he added. “We wish him all the best for the future.”
