FM Global offers $420 million of “membership credits” during upcoming renewals

FM Global is offering its clients a “membership credit” worth a collective $420 million when they renew their policies between June 30, 2010 and June 29, 2011.
The credit each client receives will be based on client tenure, with longer-term clients benefiting the most.
Clients who have been with FM Global for 35 years or more will be eligible for a membership credit rate of 20%.
More than 250 clients qualify, some of which have been policyholders with FM Global since the late 1880s.
The membership credit program helps mark the insurer’s 175th anniversary in 2010, an FM Global release says.
Clients holding policies consecutively for:
•    Fewer than five years will be eligible for a 5% credit;
•    Five to 19 years will be eligible for a 10% credit; and
•    20 to 34 years will be eligible for a 15% credit.
