The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) will be holding its first-ever National Best Practices Symposium on October 18-19, 2005, in conjunction with the IBAO Convention at the Royal York Hotel, Toronto.
“The Best Practices Management Institute features sessions by knowledgeable industry insiders,” IBAC CEO Dan Danyluk says. “These workshops have been carefully structured to give all attendees maximum benefit, focusing on key factors in today’s competitive environment agency growth and development, customer service excellence, and owners’ and managers’ essentials.”
Best practices champion Glenn White will provide participants with the very latest figures from the U.S. and provide a historical comparison of numbers over the past 10 years.
Kevin Stipe, senior vice president and principal of Reagan Consulting, will speak about the state of the industry, focusing on mergers, building brokerage value, perpetuation and strategic planning.
Through its provincial member associations, IBAC represents approximately 29,000 insurance brokers in virtually every community across the country.
“This is a first for us,” Danyluk says. “Attendees will benefit immensely from any of these workshops, by spending time with colleagues who are all focused on the same goal brokerage improvement and growth.”
