The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) will be launching a new monthly publication, The Ontario Broker, in April.
The new publication will replace the IBAO News and will be a full-colour, 16-page magazine.
The magazine will focus on important issues affecting IBAO’s membership, as well as recent activities of the association’s various committees. It will also showcase the contributions that Ontario brokers make within their communities and the economy-at-large.
The IBAO appointed Canadian Underwriter to be the exclusive publisher of The Ontario Broker.
Canadian Underwriter is part of the Business Information Group, a subsidiary of Glacier Media Inc., a Canadian information company with interests in daily and community newspapers and business-to-business information services.
The new format of the magazine is designed to be clean and “easy-to-absorb,” including quick news hits and in-depth articles exploring new business trends, political issues and market developments.
The new broker-focused publication will feature an IBAO member profile each month, emphasizing the strong ties within the broker community across the province.
“We’re very excited to launch The Ontario Broker,” said IBAO CEO Randy Carroll. “Brokers are great champions of their communities. It’s really important that we showcase their good work and also keep brokers updated on new business trends, political issues and market developments.”
The Ontario Broker will have a targeted total circulation of more than 11,000 copies each month — reaching all IBAO members, including more than 10,400 individual brokers at more than 1,200 brokerages throughout Ontario.
