IBC encourages homeowners and tenants to do inventory of belongings

Canada’s home, auto and business insurers are reminding homeowners and tenants to keep track of their possessions.
“Often, home insurance policies automatically renew each year and consumers may not even think about what their policies cover,” Doug Noble, the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC)’s vice president of Alberta and the North, said in a press release. “But if you’ve done any renovations, upgraded your furniture or acquired new and expensive electronics or art, it’s important to review your home insurance policy.”
IBC encouraged consumers to complete a room-by-room inventory of their possessions at:

IBC’s call for homeowners and tenants to take an inventory of their belongings comes on the heels of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) launching its new online tool for completing a home inventory:
