Keal Technology announced Thursday that it is now CSIO eDocs certified.
The company’s broker management system, sigXP, now has certification from the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations, meaning its solution can be applied to all insurance companies who follow CSIO XML standards for eDocs across Canada.
The eDocs process from Keal automatically attached a PDF copy of electronic documents directly to the insured’s file in sigXP without human intervention.
“Keal is excited to be one of the first BMS providers to be certified with this program,” the company’s director of development, Bill Redford, commented in the announcement.
“While working with CSIO to create the eDoc standards, it was clear to use that CSIO was demonstrating its commitment to responding quickly to the changing needs of the industry,” he added. “This CSIO Certification Program is a great driver to ensure we are all using the standards to create unified and efficient solutions, which is what we need CSIO to continue to do.”
Keal’s eDocs solution is currently offered with Aviva, Intact, RSA, Gore Mutual, Economical, Wawanesa, Northbridge, Portage Mutual and SGI Canada.
