Macdonald Chisholm, a Nova Scotia insurance broker, recently acquired L.G. Trask Insurance Limited of Yarmouth. This acquisition reflects the commencement of one of the largest insurance brokerages in the Atlantic Provinces.
“By combining the two organizations,” Mike Brien, president and CEO of Macdonald Chisholm, says, “we will be in a position to expand the scope of our advisory services within Nova Scotia. Furthermore, our existing and new customers will now benefit from the depth of experience and expertise of each of them.”
Boasting 20 offices serving in excess of 50,000 customers, the combined brokerage will be one of the largest in Eastern Canada. Approximately 150 people will be employed by the brokerage including L.G.
