Ontario Police Raid Busts Multi-Million Dollar Chop-Shop

Individuals arrested Sunday in Flamborough, Ontario, in a police raid of what is being reported as possibly one of the largest chop-shop operations in Ontario history, are said to have close ties to a Cambridge used auto parts shop accused of fronting the stolen goods, according to police.
Found in police raids on the farm property were trucks and cars that had been reported stolen and thousands of auto parts as well as a reported 400 engines.
Waterloo police have been reported to have searched Country Used Auto Parts Ltd., in Cambridge, Ontario, where thousands of auto parts were uncovered, identified as having come from the Flamborough farm.
Investigators from the Provincial Auto Theft Team, OPP, Waterloo, Niagara, and Six Nations police are reported to be assisting Hamilton police in taking inventory of all parts found, and attempting to identify stolen goods. Serial numbers on parts are being referenced to see if they correspond to vehicles stolen vehicles.
