“We are pleased to now offer our brokers access to their Pembridge/Pafco broker declarations electronically through eDocs, after achieving CSIO certification for this initiative,” said Bob Tisdale, Pembridge’s president and chief operating officer, in a press release from CSIO. “We recognize that many in the industry have been offering eDocs for some time now. We wanted to take the time and ensure our solution was most optimal and offered the highest level of efficiency for brokers. I am pleased with the result of our diligence being that our eDocs are automatically stored on the customer’s file in the broker management system, eliminating the need for the broker to manually save each document.”
When eDocs are used to their full potential, sending, receiving, sorting, scanning and destroying paper is no longer necessary, saving the industry significant amounts of time and money, CSIO explained in the release.
“We congratulate Pembridge Insurance Company and Pafco Insurance Company on obtaining CSIO certification for eDocs and demonstrating their continued commitment to helping their broker partners create and implement more efficient processes,” said CSIO president and CEO Catherine Smola in the release.
CSIO is Canada’s industry technology association of property and casualty insurers, software providers and over 35,000 brokers.
