SCM appoints Ross Betteridge as new president to lead ClaimsPro

ClaimsPro, an SCM company and a provider of independent adjusting services, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Ross Betteridge as its new president, succeeding Bob Fitzgerald, who assumed the role of CEO of SCM in January.

“Betteridge brings tremendous industry experience and a proven track record to ClaimsPro,” SCM said in a press release. He spent the previous four years with Travelers Canada, the nation’s 10th largest home, auto, and business insurer, in a variety of senior roles including chief operating officer (COO) and was most recently executive vice president, corporate strategy & shared services. Before that, Betteridge spent 10 years with Aviva Canada as a member of the executive committee initially in the position of executive vice president, chief financial officer and latterly as COO.
