Signature Risk Partners (SRPI) Inc. has launched a property and casualty product designed for Canadian golf course owners, with coverage extending from property and equipment, business interruption, crime and commercial general liability.
The Signature Golf insurance program was created after a two-year research study of the golf industry, and is a custom solution specifically designed for professional golf course facilities that understand the importance of risk management and offers coverage provided by Lloyds of London, a SRPI release said.
The product will only be available through HKMB Insurance Brokers, the release added.
The product will have property coverages specifically designed for golf courses; all risk coverages, including broad equipment break down, in one place and one wording.
Endorsements may include coverage of property of club members and customers, specialized tee to green coverage for golf-related property including maintenance equipment, golf carts and golf course grounds, additional perils of flood, earthquake, sewer back-up, off-premises utility failure and changes or extremes in temperature or humidity; building ordinances or laws to protect your business against increased costs related to the enforcement of by-laws following a covered loss to insured buildings.
We are very excited to be launching the best commercial insurance program in Canada but more importantly we are now able to offer golf course owners and operators an alternative, James Grant, CEO and co-founder of SRPI, said in a statement.
