As the title sponsor of the Concert for Hope, The Co-operators has committed $50,000 to help raise funds for the residents of Slave Lake, Alberta.
The Concert of Hope will take place from June 30 to July 2 at Wide Water Complex, just west of the Town of Slave Lake.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.slavelakeaid.com. Slave Lake Red Cross-listed evacuees and anyone directly affected by the fires will be offered free wristbands for the concert. All funds raised from the festival will be donated to the Slave Lake Rotary Club.
A broad mix of artists from across Alberta, Canada and the United Kingdom are slated to perform. Headliners include The Stampeders, Nazareth, Susan Aglukark, Ashley MacIsaac, Charlie Major and many more.
