The executive management of brokerage Parsons Brown will be merged with that of the TOS Insurance Group, according to a new statement issued by the parent company, HUB International Ltd. (TSE: HBG). Both of the HUB companies are based in Vancouver.
Under the terms of the merger, Parsons Brown’s current president, Al Pollock, will step down from his management duties and focus on client relations. Dave Mills, current vice president of the brokerage, has been appointed the new general manager as well as vice president of the TOS Insurance Group. Steve Beemish has also been appointed a vice president at TOS. Parsons Brown will continue to operate from its Vancouver location. No major changes to the daily operations of the brokerage have been envisaged at this point, nor any cutbacks to its 36-member staff, HUB says.
