U.S.-based Energi enters Canada to provide risk management and brokerage services for energy firms

Energi, a U.S. provider of risk management and insurance brokerage services to energy firms, has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, Energi of Canada LTD, and is entering the Canadian insurance market.
Initially, Energi will offer its Energy Property Insurance Program along with its Energy Savings Warranty (ESW), Solar Installers Performance Warranty (SIPW) and Solar Manufacturing Warranty Protection.
In the near future, other lines will be available such as general liability, commercial auto and excess for certain sectors of the energy industry.
All products have been designed to provide customized coverage’s for the energy industry.
Energi has appointed Peter Lueke to lead the Canadian operations for Energi.
