CLARIFICATION: The Ontario and B.C. chapters of the Women in Cancer Crusade (WICC) are each holding separate gala events on April 10, 2007 (WICC-Ontario) and March 31, 2007 (WICC-B.C.).

WICC-Ontario is holding a special evening of Fire and Ice on Apr.10, 2007, at the 11th Annual Women In Insurance Cancer Crusade Gala dinner.
This special evening promises to be a hot evening thats too cool to miss, as you are transported into a wonderland of fire and icy elements, a WICC-Ontario press release reads.
The event will feature frosted cocktails in the Ice Lounge, a glacial gala dinner and cool items in the silent auction. Additional information is posted on the WICC-Ontario Web site.
WICC-Ontario was established in 1996. It has raised more than Cdn$2 million in support of cancer research since its inception.
Registration for the event is solely via the Web site, <www.wicc.ca>, or by e-mail at <execdirector.wicc@sympatico.ca>. Registrants will receive electronic confirmation of their purchase approximately two weeks prior to the dinner.
The WICC-Ontario event will occur at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre, the Metropolitan Grand Ballroom, on Apr. 10, 2007.

WICC-B.C.s 5th annual Candlelight Ball will be held on Mar. 31, 2007, at the Sutton Place Hotel.
A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be at 7:30 p.m. The cost of tickets will be $150 per person or $1,200 per table of eight.
