The Honourable Order of the Blue Goose, Ontario pond, is presenting its Annual Charity Scotch Nosing on April 5th at the Saint Andrews Club in Toronto, with all benefits going to the Sean Corner Benefit Fund. Gooses and ganders of both scotch expert and novice status alike will be treated to a four-course dinner and an armchair tour of Scotland. A program aimed at reducing accidents involving teenagers is being launched in New Brunswick. The SMARTRISK HEROES Be Smart. Be Safe Tour helps high school students learn to make safe choices through a one-hour presentation that combines a lively multi-media show with the testimony of 18-year-old injury survivor. With the support of Canadas home, car and business insurers, the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission, and the New Brunswick Safety Council the human and financial burden of injury will be reduced through the educational program.
