Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade and ING Insurance have joined forces for the third year in a row to raise money for WICC.
This years goal was $50,000 but this was surpassed, reaching a grand total of $73,912.62. A 51% increase over 2006.
I am overwhelmed by the generosity and support that our staff and our brokers have shown with regard to the WiCC Challenge, Tracy Laughlin, ING regional vice president of Durham Region, said in a release. It feels great to be part of something that is making a difference!
WICCs success is a direct reflection of the dedication and generosity of each of the ING participants and supporters, Lyna Newman, WICC executive director, said in a release. With your contributions supporting much needed cancer research projects, we are collectively pursuing a dream of life for those who are inflicted with this disease.
