Zurich Financial Services Group has reached an agreement in principle to convey the rights to access renewals on its North American commercial small business solutions (SBS) book of business to Truck Insurance Exchange.
Truck Insurance Exchange is one of the Farmers Exchanges.
Management of the SBS book of business will transfer to Farmers Group Inc.
The SBS book, valued at approximately US$800 million, consists of three primary lines of business:
business owner’s policy (BOP) for property, liability and umbrella,
auto
workers’ compensation.
It is sold in 49 states, plus the District of Columbia.

RBC Insurance, with support from Hockey Canada and the Hockey Hall of Fame, has recognized 13 dedicated hockey volunteers as part of its RBC Local Hockey Leaders program.
Each of the 13 local hockey leaders one from each regional Hockey Canada branch will receive Cdn$10,000 towards a registered charity/hockey cause in their community.
In addition, they will receive a signed Team Canada jersey, they will have a banner raised in their local arena, and will be included in a permanent display at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
