RRJ Insurance Group/KRG Insurance Brokers have added Schofield-Aker Limited to the group.
Earlier in January 2009, RRJ Insurance Group and KRG Insurance Group merged, with the companies continuing to operate under their respective names.
“The addition of Mario Cervoni and his team will focus on developing business in the Oshawa and Durham region where they have continued to form great relationships within the community,” Abraham Baboujian and Jennifer James, co-CEO’s of RRJ Insurance Group, noted in a release. “The expertise with the new group will bring added resources to Schofield-Akers’ office.”

Rogers Insurance Ltd and Stieg & Associates Insurance (Canada) Ltd. have become joint equity partners.
The brokerage will be called Rogers Stieg Transportation Insurance Ltd.
All current clients of Stieg & Associates Insurance (Canada) Ltd. will become clients of Rogers Stieg Transportation Insurance Ltd.
The brokerage will operate from the premises of Rogers Insurance in Calgary.
The new entity will be able to offer a wider selection of markets including Old Republic, one of the largest transportation markets in the USA under the name of Great West Casualty Company.
