X by 2 enters Canadian market with formal subsidiary, office

Technology consultancy X by 2 has expanded its footprint by taking its first-ever step into Canada, a move meant to beef up service to its growing client base in the Canadian insurance market.

plant growingFocused on the practice of architecture for the insurance and healthcare industries, the company announced Monday it has created a subsidiary, X by 2 Canada.

A new office, located just west of Toronto in Mississauga, will serve as the firm’s “primary hub for providing architecture services to the Canadian market,” notes a statement from X by 2 Canada. “The office will also support X by 2’s growing involvement with the broader insurance community in Canada,” the statement adds.

The company has provided architecture services to insurance carriers across the United States for almost 20 years.

x-by-2-logo-eps_registered-01“As we considered other markets where X by 2’s expertise and experience in planning and delivering strategic insurer initiatives would be of value, Toronto just made sense,” David Packer, president of X by 2, says in the statement.

“Toronto is the epicenter for insurance companies in Canada, we have consultants living in the Greater Toronto area, and we have already built significant momentum with Toronto area insurers over the past year,” Packer continues.

Founded in 1998, X by 2’s architecture Services include architecture planning, strategies and roadmaps; program and architecture leadership for agile delivery; and program assessments, and system architecture audits and reviews.
